This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to effectively lead an emergency control organisation during an emergency incident. Participants will learn how to coordinate emergency response efforts, manage resources, and ensure the safety and welfare of personnel and the public.

    This unit applies to those working in operational roles across various industries, including construction, mining, and utilities.

    The total duration of Issue Work Permit is a comprehensive one day (8 hours)

    Chief Warden is delivered face to face, blended or on-site by experienced trainers with relevant industry experience either at of our training centres located in:

    PUAFER06 – Lead an emergency control organisation.

    No formal pre-requisites required. However, participants should have basic literacy and numeracy skills.

    Participants should possess basic language, literacy, and numeracy skills to ensure they can comprehend training materials and instructions effectively.

    Participants will be assessed through:

      • Written assessments
      • Practical exercises and simulations
      • Case studies and scenario-based assessments
      • Observation of performance in simulated emergency situations

    Upon successful completion of the course and assessment requirements, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency PUAFER06 – Lead an emergency control organisation
