Provide CPR / Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) / Apply Work Health and Safety Regulations overview

This comprehensive HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), UETDRMP007 Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) and UEECD0007 Apply Work Health and Safety Regulations, Codes and Practices in the Workplace (WHS) course is designed for professionals working in environments where low voltage electrical systems are present, as well as those who want to enhance their emergency response skills. Participants will gain essential knowledge and hands-on experience in both CPR techniques and low voltage rescue protocols, ensuring they are well-equipped to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Course Objectives CPR Training:

  • Acquire the skills needed to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Participants will practice techniques in realistic scenarios to build confidence in their ability to save lives.
  • Engage in hands-on training sessions that simulate real-life emergency scenarios, allowing participants to practice CPR techniques under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Course Objectives Low Voltage Rescue:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of low voltage rescue procedures, including safe approaches, isolating power sources, and performing rescues without putting oneself at risk.
  • Risk assessment and emergency planning. Develop skills to identify potential hazards associated with low voltage work and create effective emergency response plans tailored to specific workplace environments.

Course Objectives Work Health and Safety:

  • Identifying and reporting hazards, reviewing risk control measures and contributing to WHS/OHS processes within an electrotechnology work environment.
  • Demonstrate safe methods and techniques in a simulated scenario under the guidance of experienced instructors.

This course is ideal for electricians, maintenance workers, safety officers, and anyone involved in work where low voltage systems are in use. It is also suitable for those who wish to enhance their first aid skills in emergency situations.
